I want to congratulate Vice Admiral Deela T'Lar on her appointment as TF29 TFCO. Mel has extensive experience at all different levels of fleet staff, and has served as a TFCO before, so I'm sure she'll do great. Congrats!Temporary Database Closure

What, hes back? No not full time, got a week before I head for the big sandbox. Since I'm around though I wanted to let everyone know that the database will be temporarily restricted while the AFC does a bit of restructuring. There's no real time frame as to when this will be completed, so please be patient. Drew will post a message with more details if he feels it necessary.Feedback Please

I know many of you are liking the new website, but this is a first step for Antares. Development to improve the site will be continue on happening behind the scenes. What I would like to know from everyone as to what everyone would like to see added or improved on. Feel free to make your suggestions here.The Pathfinders

With the NuTrek TF moving a full speed, and both myself and Alex working on simulations to help open up the TF, I would like to publicly thank both melissa and Alex for the incredible amount of hard work they are both putting into this. My hats off to the two of you.New JAGCO

It gives me great pleasure to announce that the AFC has selected a new JAGCO. Captain Alex Diangelo stepped up to the call, and has been voted in by the AFC to fill the JAGCO vacancy. Captain Diangelo will receive a promotion to Commodore, and will be moved from TF7 to TF1. Commodore Varal will announce a replacement for Commodore Diangelo as TF7 TFXO shortly. I hereby order the following: Any Antares Fleet Commanding Officer can and will be permitted to open a second command within Antares fleet under the following condition. -The second command must not be in the same era as the first command -The JAG officer and one of the AFSS will review current sim for suitability for a second command -The first command must be a fully active sim with regular posting activity -Any requests for a second command must come through the AFCO and/or Senior JAG Offi...Current events

As some of you may or may not have noticed, there has been some issues with the database in the last 24 hours. the database will be closed until further notice due to some issues with certain pages having been ripped directly from Bravo Fleet Database. Now as you all know we had some issue recently revolving around the awards for Antares Fleet also. Thankfully both issues have been smoothed over, but understandably Admiral barak of Bravo Fleet has been a little less than happy about it. I hav...The More Things Change...

I know the past few months have been crazy with people moving throughout the upper positions of the fleet, but after talking with Drew and the rest of the AFSS, we've decided to return things to the way they were(with a slight change or two). I will be returning to the position of AFCO, Drew will be returning to the AFXO role, Melissa has offered to take on the AFCoS role, and Teddi will remain as AFDO. Its been about a few days now since I was appointed Chief of Staff. There is always something to do when it comes to the website. If its not one thing, it is another. Having said that, I am looking for a awards director whom would be in charge of looking over award nominations and either accepting or declining it. They would also be in charge of adding new awards. After discussing this Drew, we thought that it would be best for the fleet that all AFC Simms that are in taskforce 1. Each simm will be going back to where they were before the split. When we start seeing some improvements in our numbers in each taskforce, we will then change back and reopen Taskforce 1. Right now, we have to look for what is the best for the fleet and right now, Taskforce 1 needs to be closed until the time is right.
